JOANNE M. EVERS, age 71, of Little Sioux, Iowa passed away Friday, August 19, 2011 at the Immanuel Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska. Joanne was born November 25, 1939 in Little Sioux, Iowa to Cecil and Maude (Lindley) Murray. Joanne attended school in Little Sioux. She was married to Marvin Evers in 1957. She loved looking and buying on Ebay, puzzles, watching basketball and baseball. Marvin passed away in 1987. Survivors include her children: Dwight Evers and wife Jane of Soldier, Iowa; Brenda Beers and husband Mike; Bradley Evers and Jeff Evers all of Little Sioux, Iowa; grandchildren: A. J. Evers, Tyler Evers, Nicki Parrott an husband Adam, Melissa Beers, Sabrina Beers, Kollin Evers, Taylor Evers; great-grandchildren: Hailey Parrott, Mackenzie Parrott; Brayden VanValkenburg and Chloe Beers; sister-in-laws: Jo Moore, Dana Sillau and husband Bill, Rae Mullen and husband Bob; brother-in-law: John Evers and wife Fran. Joanne was preceded in death by her parents, husband Marvin, brother and sisters. Visitation with family will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Monday with a Prayer Service at 7:00 p.m. at the Hennessey-Aman Funeral Home in Missouri Valley.
