Graduated from Holy Name Catholic High School. Preceded in death by parents, James and Jean Ramsey. Survived by sons, Aaron and Andre Zavesky; sister, Amina Bilal (Hassan); brothers: James Jr. (Gloria), Jeffrey (Cindy), Jon (Theresa), Jerry, and Jordan (Andrea); many nieces and nephews
The Family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 6th from 5pm to 7pm at the West Center Chapel. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Wednesday, April 7th at 10:30am at Holy Name Catholic Church, 2901 Fontenelle Blvd. Interment: Resurrection Cemetery.

Joel was a good friend to my wife Mary and I in the early 1980s when we all worked at Baker’s Supermarket. We lost touch when Joel moved to Arizona. I remember his smile most of all. Our heartfelt condolences to his family.
