Dear Chris and all the extended Stefan family:

Just want you to know that I will be remembering you and your father / father-in-law / grandfather these days at Mass and in my prayers. I remember you well from your time at Prep, and from running into your mother from time to time over the years. I am sorry for your loss, and wish I could be at the funeral on Saturday.

Thank you so much for the information regarding John’s death. I spent a lot of time with him in the last 6 months of his life and was always amazed at what he had accomplished between my visits. He had very little energy yet managed to sell his truck, make sure his dog had a chance for a new home, sell his power tools, get his finances in order, etc. He also always made sure Ginny had what she needed. He was very grateful for all that others did for him and had a strong faith in God. I learned a lot from John.

I am so sorry to hear that John has left this earth. John was such an active member in our church, and always had a welcome smile and conversation. He will be missed. Cherish the memories…
