My sincere condolences to the family. I worked with John at Fort Calhoun Station for 14 years. He was one of the kindest person’s I have ever worked with. It was always a pleasure working with John on projects or interfacing with him on technical items. He taught me so much in electrical work and controls. My prayers go out to the family as he will be dearly missed by the nuclear family. My sympathies Jan L. Bostelman

I am tremendously saddened by his passing. I worked with John for many years at Fort Calhoun, a professional in all ways, a deep thinking, and compassionate person. Prayers for his family.

John was an excellent friend and engineer. I worked with him at OPPD for 30 years, and I missed him when he retired. My prayers for comfort go out to Sarah, Emily and Sam.

John had such pride and love for his family – this is a heartbreaking loss for everyone. There was always time for him to get you up to date on Emily and Sam’s adventures! He just loved Sarah and those kids!! John was absolutely the kindest, sweetest person I have ever known. He will always hold a special place in our hearts. We will miss him terribly, and we pray for peace for his family.

We liked to call our neighbor ‘Kind Man’-for years he & Sarah have looked after a local stray cat. John was the only person ‘Oscar’ would let touch him & it was graceful fun watching them together.

St. Paul said for those who trust Christ, ‘death is the final enemy’ we all must face. But beyond its great sorrow for those left behind in time are God’s wonderful promises to His own. Mine most treasured among them is found at Revelation 21:4 where we see renewal of all things that WILL come. As St. John recorded it:

“And God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.” Then He who sat on the throne said, “Behold, I make all things new.” “Write, for these words are true & faithful.” And He said to me, “It is done! I am Alpha & Omega, Beginning & End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts.”
Farewell now for a season, Kind Man.

My sincere condolence to the family, He was one of the kindest men in the world, he accepted to sponsor my education in Uganda Africa. He was such a loving man, I always loved writing to him and the entire family, I still read the letters I received from him and his picture stuck on my mind.

Am looking forward to meeting him in paradise,in that life to come
