The Nebraska Children’s Home send its sympathy to Ruth and all her family. We have been blessed so many time and in so many ways by John’ s unfailing faith in the mission of the Nebraska Children’s Home and its mission to the children of Nebraska. My God be with you at this sad challenging time. I will always remember John for his smile, his handshake and his friendship.

I feel badly that I missed a phone call from John several weeks ago. To Ruth and family please accept our. sympathy at this time- we talked last winter about maybe not playing tennis this year at PB because of our advanced age. John was my hero and example of what our profession stands for. I shall miss him terribly.

John Sage was a wonderful friend. I always enjoyed our Wednesday visits at Omaha Downtown Rotary and our conversations about, Carleton College in Minnesota, from which we both graduated..

Mt sincere sympathies to all of Dr. Sage’s family. As a nurse working with Dr. Sage was a joy. He was compassionate, easy to talk to, and loved to teach. One of a kind.

On behalf of the Nina Rogers family, we offer our sincerely condolences at the death of Dr Sage. Our Grandma baby sat for John and his sister Sally. She always spoke so highly about him even when he was little. May the Peace of the Lord be with you all.

Condolences to Ruth and all of Dr. Sage’s Family. Dr. Sage was an incomparable gentleman. He was a fixture both at Lauritzen’s Rose Garden and Memorial Park Rose Garden. He will be dearly missed.
