John, you were a good neighbor for the past 20 years. Your smile was contageous and your laugh addictive. You allowed me to pray with you on numerous occasions. Missed will be our talks either on your porch or in my driveway. Speaking of your porch, how you loved sitting out there enjoying the weather and watching the neighborhood. I trust you are enjoying your new residence with the Allmighty God as your host. I’m remembering Psalm 23 as I write this.

John, it was a pleasure to have known you through my brother, Jim Waterman. You were a big part of the Waterman family for a lot of years. I still have the little glass decanter you gave me when we visited you at your home in Colorado.

John was a friend from the 70’s. He was a great guy and one of the most thoughtful people I’ve ever met. When my wife and I told them about his death they remembered his bringing gifts for them every time he visited. I first met him when he worked for Omaha National and later had the good fortune to have him work with our company. I will never forget his car the Rolls Canardly. It rolls down the hill and Canardly make it up the next one. Thanks for great memories John!!

I will always remember playing hide and seek at your house with my Grampy
Hiding in the basement being scared to death!
You were a great friend to him and I think you for that. You will be greatly missed sir. Rest easy.

John, you were like the brother my father, Art Johnson, never had. It was great to have spent time meeting you in Nebraska and hearing all the shenanigans you and my dad got into. We have stayed in touch and it was so great you spent one winter in Tucson and my dad and you were able to hang out and catch up. I always enjoyed you calls and how you stayed involved in my time in the military. You will be truly be missed, but I’m sure you and my dad are up in heaven up to your old shenanigans. Rest In Peace John!
