John E. Pfeffer
September 4, 1934 – February 12, 2025
He was preceded in death by her son, David; mother, Elizabeth; brothers, Fred and Ed. He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; son, Jim (Barb); daughter, Karyn; grandchildren: Victoria, Alexandra, Nicholas, and Stephen (Jenny); brother, Bob (Jean); sister, Joan.
He was a Korean War veteran who proudly served 36 years on the Omaha Police Department, retiring in 1995 as a Captain. His passion was golf, which he was able to play nearly right up to his passing.
Vigil Service: Wednesday, March 12th, 6:30pm at West Center Chapel with visitation starting at 5:30pm.
Mass of Christian Burial: Thursday, March 13th, 10:30am at St. Thomas More Catholic Church.
Interment: Resurrection.
Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society and charities benefiting veterans.

He is playing pinochle with his father Fred, his little brother Eddie James, oldest brother Fred, nephew Mark, and his belived son David. His mother Betty is feeding them like kings.
My deepest condolences to you and your family. His earthly duties are complete, and his soul is in heaven with our Lord of Hosts.
