John K. “Jack” Weber

WEBER, John K., “Jack” Jul 24, 1922 – Feb 7, 2014 Our father was born in Leland, Illinois, the third of five children of Ruth and Ernest Weber. The family moved to Omaha where Jack graduated from North High School. After returning from U.S. Army service in WWII in the Asia Pacific Theater, he married Rosemary Wonder in 1946. Jack retired as Corporate Materials Manager at Vickers, Inc. in 1985 after a 34-year career. He is preceded in death by Rosemary and his four siblings. Jack is survived by his six children: Karen (Steve) Dornseif, Kathleen (Archie) Milligan, Karla Watson, John (Tess) Weber, Kim (Jerry) Stevens, and Jeffrey (Roxanne Suiter) Weber, fifteen grandchildren; six great grandchildren. Jack’s strong personality and sense of duty made him a good provider for his large family. He, along with Rosemary, chose to forego the perks of retirement in order to assist children and grandchildren when needed. The lessons of family and commitment will be their shared legacy. The family will receive friends Monday, February 10th from 5pm to 8pm at the West Center Chapel. SERVICES Tuesday, February 11th at 11am at the West Center Chapel. Interment, Calvary Cemetery with military rites by Millard American Legion Post 374 and VFW Post 8334. Memorials are suggested to Disabled American Veterans
