My thoughts and prayers are with the Frillman family at this difficult time.
I worked as an assistant professional under Mr. Frillman at Happy Hollow. Learning from him and watching how he ran his business had a tremendous influence on how I did things once I got my opportunity.
Thank you Mr. Frillman, you will be missed.
Prayers to Judy, Mark and Karen at your loss. May God grant you peace and know His love at this time,
Our thoughts and prayers are with you “Red” and the family. John was one of those rare “larger than life” individuals who positively impact all the people with whom they cross paths. I was one of the many who benefited from his wisdom and willingness to mentor. Naomi and I will treasure lots of great memories, dating back to 1966, with you and John. I am personally aware of John’s Christian background and values, as such, it is comforting to know that he has gone home to be with the Lord. Even so, I am going to miss his GRANDE, infectious smile and the big hugs. What a guy! Hit one for me Johnny and save a spot for me in your foursome! Adios for now……..juan
So sorry to hear about John. Together with my parents Tom and Ruth Weekes, we offer our prayers for comfort for the family during this tough time.
I had the good fortune of working for John the first four years he was at Happy Hollow. He was a hugely gregarious man of many talents. I learned a lot working for John, such as how to gift wrap a package — I was told he learned this skill working with Mike Gallagher at Marshall Field (?) during the off-season. He had a personality that would fill a room. He will be missed by all who knew him.
My Condolences go out to Judy, Karen, Mark, & Mike… Everyone who knew & loved this great man. I have lost touch with the family in recent years and just found out about his passing today. I will never forget how kind and welcoming he was to me. He made me feel like an old friend immediately. I only knew him for a brief time but he made a lasting impression!
