John L. “Jack” Sullivan, Sr.

Sullivan, John L., Sr., “Jack” Apr 20, 1923 – Nov 26, 2013 Devoted husband and father. Preceded in death by granddaughter, Rebecca Sullivan; son-in-law, Keith Faur; brothers: Leo, Harold, Ray, Leonard, and Dick; sisters: Helen Poe, Maxine Jeffrey, and Shirley Sullivan. Survived by wife of 66 years, Harriet; sons, John, Jr. and wife, Leigh Jean Koinzan, Jim and wife, Susan Larson; daughters: Michelle and husband Dave Dunn, Kim and husband Rich Harman, Mary Faur; 12 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Rita and husband Jim Willuhn; brother, Robert Sullivan; brother-in-law, Joe Carr. Jack served in the Army in Europe for three years during World War II and helped print the treaty at the end of the war. The family will receive friends Friday, November 29th , 2013 from 5pm-7pm, followed by VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm at the West Center Chapel. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Saturday, November 30th at 1pm at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church. Private Burial on Monday, December 2nd, Bellevue Cemetery with military rites by American Legion Post 331. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
