John M. Kuhry, Sr.

June 23, 1939 – July 4, 2019

Preceded in death by daughter, Mary Lynn; son, Patrick; grandson, Stephen.  Survived by wife, Rose; daughter-in-law, Leigh Kuhry; daughter, Liz Dervin (Tom); son, John Jr. (Amie); grandchildren: Jordan, Matthew, John Francis, Mary Grace, Sophia, T.J., Michael, and Bennett; great-grandchildren: Jade, Ben, Isabella, and Hunter; brothers, Bob and Terry; sister, Antoinette Kuhry-Haeuser (Tom).

The Family will receive friends on Sunday, July 7th from 2pm to 4pm at the West Center Chapel, followed by VIGIL SERVICE at 4pm.  MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL:  Monday, July 8th at 10:30am at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church, 11802 Pacific.  Interment: Calvary Cemetery.

Memorials are suggested to Creighton Prep or Duchesne Academy of the Sacred Heart, or may be directed to the family.

    I attended Holy Cross grade school with John and a few years ago connected with him once again at an 8th grade reunion. John’s devotion to his faith and family were so apparent. I’m sure he’ll be missed deeply by his family and friends. May he rest in peace!

    I am so sorry Rose and to your whole family on your lost. From the whole community of the Fiat Ministry Network God Bless John Kuhry aka “The Old Warrior”. We just want to say it was a true honor working with such a holy man. Again God Bless the Kuhry Family. May he rest in peace.
