    My brother through and through.
We looked to each other in envy of one another at the the age of 7 both in belief that the other one was “cooler” only to find as adults , we were always one love. Something that bonded us deeply and eternally. My fellow artist and “child who survived” forever it remains.
We will skate, draw, and support one another in our craft in and out of this experience. My tribe.

At 3 AM I’m watching an old show called Dark Shadows and think of the song Ramen Noodle Vampire
J have to look up John and see it’s been exactly a year tomorrow since he’s passed.
John, I know your soul will be at your friends wedding bash, rocking tonight.
    Peace be with you
    Your spirit’s burning brightly

Just found out about John’s passing. Will never forget the days of sharing a practice space with John’s band Blenny back in the mid 90s. In my opinion, all of the bands there became good friends. John was also talented drawing, as he drew a flyer for my band, which impressed me. Even though I’ve moved away from Omaha, I still check in online from time to time to keep updated on John’s music career. Happy to see that he continued making music, while so many of us have moved on to other things.
