Dear Hazel and kids; William and I are shocked and deeply saddened by the news that John passed away. When we think of how sad it made us, we realized that your burden of grief must be insurmountable! There is such a huge hole left in the universe where John once stood. He really made a difference in so many lives by his many, selfless acts with so many groups and activities. You are all so blessed to have been able to share his life with you. It won’t be long until all the sadness will be replaced with all the wonderful memories you all have of him. I believe that when we connect so deeply with another person that their death only takes away their body. John’s spirit will always be with you and your family. You are very fortunate that he loved you and counted on you to be his soft place to be when stresses really got him down and the first person he wanted to find when something wonderful happened. Our live and prayers are with you and the family through this difficult time.

Its has taken me this long to reflect back on ” Johnny boy”s” absence from this world. What can I say,…we both served in the military…he was my partner at the USPS for over two years…he taught me how to play racket ball…came close to beating him, went golfing and played ping pong on several occasions…he was just a great funny guy…he always talked about his son and family in Okinawa since my wife I traveled alot back and forth to Japan…So here’s to “Johnny Boy” …….you will be missed…
