John “Pat” McCann
March 12, 1936 – July 12, 2024
John “Pat” McCann, 88, of Omaha, Nebraska, passed away peacefully at home with his loving wife,
Judy by his side. Pat was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
He cherished spending time with his large family. He was the best supporter and mentor to his children and grandchildren. Attending football, basketball, baseball, soccer and volleyball games, dance recitals, family vacations, to endless holiday festivities, birthday and wedding celebrations, to Horseman’s Park, the Kentucky Derby, Pat loved it all! Being one of the oldest ticket holders of the College World Series, 60 + years, it was a yearly family tradition to get together for a crazy week of laughs and fun!
Pat owned and operated McCann Plumbing, Inc. for over 60 years along with his wife, Judy. He was
passionate about his work and was loved by his customers and employees. Pat will always be remembered
for displaying on the company billboard the Husker football prediction for the Saturday games.
Pat is survived by his wife, Judy of 38 years. They shared a large family together. Patrick McCann (Ingrid),
Paul McCann (Laura), Peter McCann (Stephanie), Kimberly Dineen Ohnoutka, Kerry Dineen Thomas (Robert),
Joe Dineen (Jodi), John Dineen (Suzanne).
Living forever in the hearts of his beautiful grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Alex Nebbia, Morgan
Ayers, Mitchell McCann, Mason McCann, Andrew McCann, Kristina McCann, Madeline McCann, Cole
Ohnoutka, Ellee Ohnoutka, Olivia Thomas, Robert Thomas, Brody Thomas, Joe Dineen, Jay Dineen, Jax
Dineen, Jet Dineen, JP Dineen, Cooper Dineen, Finn Dineen, Easton Dineen, and 7 great-grandchildren.
He is greatly missed and will be forever in our hearts!
Family will receive friends on Monday, July 22nd from 9-11 AM at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial at 11AM, 11802 Pacific Street.
Private Interment.
Memorials are suggested to St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic School.

Lots of fond memories through the years with the McCann family. Prayers and condolences to all of you.
I will always remember “Pat” over the years in our monthly poker group. He always had pleasant things to say about all of his family. You will be missed. May you rest in peace. Condolences to everyone in his family.
