John Robert Mimick
July 17, 1946 – October 26, 2018
John was a man of integrity who loved his faith and loved his family. Preceded in death by parents, Henry and Eola Mimick. Survived by wife, Mary T. Mimick; children: Michelle Phillips (Dave), Amanda Lovercheck (Scott), and Matthew Mimick; grandchildren: Olivia, Evelyn, Nathan, Hannah and Amelia, and Baby Lovercheck; brother, Richard Mimick (Claudia); sister, Pamela Mimick; nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, Nov. 1st from 5pm to 7pm at the West Center Chapel, followed by VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Friday, Nov. 2nd at 10:30am, St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, 15353 Pacific. Entombment: Resurrection Mausoleum. Memorials will be directed by the family.

My sincere prayers and condolences to the Mimick Family. There will always be an empty place in your hearts ? ♥️ ? and at the table for Dad/Grandpa/husband/friend and all other roles which John had. I am so sorry for your loss. Prayers continue.

We were so sorry to hear of John’s passing. He was such a nice man and a superb example of a Christian disciple and father, son, brother and friend. I have enjoyed getting to know Mary and John as a staff member and fellow parishioner at St. Wenceslaus and sharing our connection as a fellow alumnus of Bergan and our mutual family friendship with Tom and Mary Jo Rump. Elliot will continue to bring up “Mrs. Phillips’ dad” in our daily prayers at dinner time and know that the whole St. Wenceslaus family is praying for you as well. The St. Wenc family lost a dear, sweet man. May Christ’s love, prudence and wisdom lift you up at this time to understand God’s will.

Today brings heartfelt sadness as my childhood friend is being laid to rest. Jack was a great guy who was an inspiration to all who knew him. Our deepest condolences to all the family. We will miss you! Rest in Peace, Cousin.
