Kim Jones-Sudbeck August 31, 2015 Kimberly Jones-Sudbeck, Marketing and Public Relations Director at Village Pointe Shopping Center, passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with breast cancer on Monday afternoon, August 31st, with her husband Gordon Sudbeck at her side. All who knew Kim could expect that she would generously give you as much time as you needed to be informed, mentored, inspired, assisted or just as a good listener if you needed one. Kim pursued many passions including fitness training and distance running, took thousands of photos and needed every new item of technology that came out, as soon as it came out. With an artistic flair known by her friends and acquaintances, Kim answered many requests for flower arrangements and photo sessions and you could always count on getting beautifully wrapped birthday and Christmas packages from her. Kim will always be synonymously linked to Village Pointe Shopping Center. As with everything, Kim meticulously made sure that every event, ad and concert was executed to perfection. Kim had a passion for travel. She and Gordy travelled to practically every State and to Europe, Australia, many of the Caribbean Islands, preferring indigenous experiences to typical tourist haunts. Those who know Gordy knew that she was the consummate golf widow. Above all, Kim loved her family. She is survived by her husband, Gordy; parents, Wallace and Wanda Jones; brothers and sisters: Wally Joe Jones (Trudy), Kelly Jones (Gina), Buffy Hansen (Kevin), Toni Brandner (Roy), and Kasey Koch (Bryce); sons, Robb Sudbeck (Brittany) and Tom (Jessica); grandchildren; Ryker, Blakely, Renner, Miana, and Macson; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Mary Kay and Steve Johnson, Deni and Gary Sudbeck, and Patti and Kevin Langel; many, many nieces and nephews and cousins. Kim treasured many true friendships, some made recently and many lasting for decades a life, if short, well lived. CELEBRATION OF LIFE Thursday, September 3rd from 4pm to 7pm at Brix, 225 N. 170th St. in Village Pointe. Memorials are suggested to Kim Jones Scholarship Fund.
