Joseph A. Fanciullo

April 15, 1925 – August 30, 2018

Preceded in death by infant daughter, Cathy; infant great-grandson, Xander; parents, Rosa and Sebastiano Fanciullo; siblings: Sammy, Rose, Alfred, and Sarah.  Survived by wife, Mildred; children: Mary Shipp (Christopher), Richard Fanciullo (Cecilia), Dave Fanciullo (Stacey), and Dr. Joe Fanciullo (Davina); ten grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends on Monday, September 3rd from 4:30pm to 6:30pm at the West Center Chapel, followed by VIGIL SERVICE at 6:30pm.  MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Tuesday, September 4th at 11am, St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 3122 S. 74th St.  Interment, Calvary Cemetery with military honors by American Legion Post 331.  Memorials are suggested to St. Thomas More Parish.

    Mike and I send condolences to the Fanciullo family and friends. Joe and Millie have always been kind and wonderful neighbors at Sokol Camp.

    I’m so sorry to hear of Joe’s passing. My dad was also Joseph Fanciullo and when we were kids and got in trouble people would confuse the 2 and mistakenly call Joe. It was a standing joke with him and my dad. I don’t know if they ever met but when my dad passed 20 years ago, Joe showed up to pay his respects! Thoughts and prayers to you all?
