RIES, Joseph E., Joe Dec 28, 1959 Jun 24, 2014 Born in Sioux City, Iowa, to Betty (Jones) and Dave Ries; died at Alegent Creighton Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska, from complications of cancer. He was employed as a Project Manager for Erickson Construction, and was a member of SAL Post 374. He was preceded in death by mother, Betty; brother, David; 2 infant siblings. He is survived by wife, Rebecca; daughter, Nicole; sons, Jeffrey (Liz), Robert (Nikki), and Ryan; grandchildren: Zachary, Justus, Ella, and Ryu; brothers: Bill (Betty), Tom (Lisa), and Dan; sisters, Susan and Laura; several nieces and nephews. MEMORIAL SERVICE Saturday, June 28th at 11am at the West Center Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Millard American Legion Post 374SAL Squadron.
