As a young trial lawyer in 1976 Joe was gracious to me and a true example of what a great trial lawyer should be. He was fun to be around and didn’t take himself too seriously. The trial bar will miss him as will many others who knew him. Dan
It is an honor for me to say I knew Joe Meusey and he was a friend. I will miss him greatly, both on and off the golf course. Happy Hollow Club will not be the same without him. Rest in Peace Joe and blessings, thoughts and prayers to Sue Meusey and the entire Meusey family. Brad
Having known Joe for over 60 years and I will miss him. He was a good friend, great advisor and one of the best competitors in any sport, I send my condolences to Sue and the family. Rest in peace my friend.
Ruthless in battle but observant of the rules of engagement. Honest in all dealings with me as an adversary. Helpful to reach the issues and not to litigate trivialities. Joe Meusey was a distinguished person and coincidentally, a distinguished lawyer.

I’m sorry to hear about your loss. Joe always was a good friend and advisory to my father, Jim Sr., the dentist. I knew Joe to be a very kind and honest man. Please accept the Theisen family’s heartfelt thoughts and prayers for Joe and the entire Meusey family.
i second dan chesire’s comments. though joe had no reason to be kind to me, except he was a good guy, he was more than kind. i learned much losing to joe in the courtroom, and much just watching him interact with everyone in a case. i wish i could have told him how important he was to a very inexperienced young lawyer. you and your family will be in the lefler family prayers.
Every trial lawyer who interacted with him or watched him try a case, became a better trial lawyer because of it.
I am so sorry to hear of Joe’s death. He was a terrific lawyer and a fine man. He will be missed!
Joe raised the trial lawyer’s bar to a level that was difficult reach. Sue and family you are in our prayers.
Great advocate and lawyer. Better yet a good person.
I had a few cases with Joe and never faced a better lawyer. He was a strong advocate while kind as well as professional. We lost a good man.
I have been fortunate to know Joe my entire professional life. We first met as members of the U.S. Army’s Judge Advocate General ( JAG) unit during the Vietnamese war. In the practice I handled personal-injury claims that were defended by Joe. In our later years we fly fished together on the Snake River in the Nebraska sandhills. He was a true professional, a most worthy advocate, an honest and good friend. I would describe Joe as a lawyer’s lawyer cut out of the same mold as his senior partner Bob Frazier. I will always cherish our friendship together. I offer my sincerest condolences to his family.
Much love and comfort to you all during this difficult time. Jennifer shared many loving memories of Papa Joe and we are lifting you all up in prayer. Much love and hugs from Colorado.
Although I have only known Joe for 4 years here at Happy Hollow I have enjoyed our time together on the Green Committee as well as our fun talks about fishing. He loved sneaking out before golf started to catch bass on #5 and #14. Thank you for the great memories Joe.
I had to miss the services, and I’m soooo sorry! So happy I got to see him & U just before he passed.
PEACE to U!!!
