Dear Mr. and Mrs. Fehr, Brady, Reagan and Mitchell,

The Jackson Davis family sends its deepest sympathies for your loss of Joe. Jackson was a freshman when Joe was a senior and they were in the same homeroom class. He was also a JV player that year. Jackson shared with us that Joe was always kind to him, in class and on the pitch. That’s a big deal for a nervous freshman. Our thoughts and prayers will remain with your family in the days ahead as you navigate a a path through. May Joe’s memory be always and only a blessing for you all.

    With much love,
The Davis Family ~ Michelle, Rob and Jackson

My deepest condolences on this tragic tragic loss.. I taught Joe in physics at Drury and talked with him often and on over the last 1.5 years (about his interest in doing engineering in college after Drury, his soccer playing, and nebraska football), and never suspected a thing. I’m heartbroken. Truly stunned and heartbroken. And I feel so sad at your loss. My prayers go out to his entire family. I don’t know what else to say…

  • Brandy Livingstone Posted April 3, 2018 9:00 am

Our hearts are broken for you and everyone who loved Joe. He was such a good friend and very special to Christian. He was always smiling and so polite when we would visit. We are praying that God can help heal your hearts.

I cannot imagine the grief you are feeling. Please know that Joe was a special young man and was well liked by my son, Parker. He may have been in this world for a short time but he made a big impact on those around him. May you find peace knowing that he was loved by so many and is now resting in the arms of the Lord.

    Dear Fehr family,
I want to reach out to you on behalf of my family and express our sincere sorrow for your loss. We were very sorry to hear about Joe..
Clearly he was an outstanding individual and loved by many..
Our family lost our son at a similar age so we understand much about your devastation and loss. I hope sometime we can share stories and help you through your grief. Just know that we will be praying deeply for you in the days weeks and months ahead.

  • Lene Larson Posted April 5, 2018 11:43 am

    Mr. & Mrs. Fehr,
I have never met your son or you. I heard about what happened to your son in a very Omaha way; through a friend of a friend of a friend. I am the mother of two younger children and have not been able to stop thinking of you ever since I heard the story days ago. There just aren’t words. All I want to say is that your grief is being shared with complete strangers. I realize there is aboslutely nothing anyone can say to ease your pain and for this I am so sorry. I hope that a donation to the Kim Foundation will prevent this from happening to another family.
From a very sad parent, Lene’ Larson
