June 14, 1977 – August 26, 2020
Survived by parents, Maureen and Jerry Duran; sisters: Veronica Chavez, Christina Huggins (David), Michelle Duran, and Amber Arrellano; nieces and nephews.
Observing CDC Guidelines, the family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 15th from 5pm to 7pm at the West Center Chapel, followed by VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Wednesday, September 16th at 10am at Christ the King Catholic Church, 654 S. 86th St. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Dear Maureen and Jerry, we are so very sorry about your loss of your son Joseph. Be assured we keep you and all your family in our prayers. May God grant you His peace and may Joseph have Eternal light shine upon him.
I can not tell you how very sorry I am to hear of Joes death. I am saddened to know the grief that the family will be going through. Please know that I carry some of that burden as well. With much love and prayers during this difficult time

I am so sorry for your loss. Joe held a very special place in my heart growing up together. I am sorry that I could not be there in person with you all, but know that I am with you all in prayer. I love you guys.
