Josephine grew up in Little Italy, in the company of many relatives and friends.  She graduated from St. John (Mercy) High School and married Alfred on July 28, 1940.  They enjoyed sixty-two years of marriage.  She made a career of caring beautifully for her home and family.  Her life was made full through marriage, friendships, travel, and the activities of her children and grandchildren; and finally, enjoying the blessing of her five great granddaughters.
