Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven: a time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up what is planted

My sincere condolences to Joyce’s family. I first met Joyce 40+ years ago when we were social work colleagues at UNMC. We’d bump into each other occasionally over the years, and I was always struck by her kind and gentle manner, and her deep commitment to our profession. May God hold her in the palm of his hand.

Debbie and Doug, Andrew & family, Brie & family, I send my deepest heartfelt sympathy for your loss. I only met Joyce a few times but was very taken by her grace, elegance, and kindness. It was easy to ascertain that she was a wonderful mother and grandmother and did such a great job of raising her wonderful children.
