Oh Charlie, my dear, dear friend. My heart aches every day and still have a difficult time knowing you are gone. You left this world much too soon. Will miss our times and laughter we had over the years. You were one of a kind. May you be at peace now. Love you forever and missing you with each passing day.

I’m still in shock that Charlie is no longer on this earth. I never got to say thank you for her friendship to my parents. She treated my dad with dignity always and saw my mom through the hardest time in her life. Charlie will be missed beyond words and will be remembered for her generosity and gentility forever!

I too was totally surprised when we lost Charlie. For the past 13 years she has restored many antique frames for me and the pictures that we have put in them have made them truly family treasures and heirlooms. She will be greatly missed

I will miss “Charlie” so much. I enjoyed talking with her at Rockbrook and Countryside for many years. She always came by and looked at my art and told me how much she admired it. She was special.

I was stunned and deeply saddened to hear today of the loss of our beloved Charlie, i say “our” in the sense i thought of her as family and as a fellow artist who has lost a dear friend. I cannot express my deep feelings for her. Seeing her in Omaha was one of the highlights of my year, As i have gotten in age and heard rumors of her leaving, the last time i saw her i told her if she quits than i quit. She is one of the reasons we continued to do the show, The show was truly Charlies show and she made us all feel special. I am going to truly miss her earthly presence. My heartfelt prayers to all her family and friends. May God comfort you all and me as we grieve her loss.

The O’Hara family sends our condolences to Charlie’s family and friends. Our parents always enjoyed and appreciated having Charlie as a neighbor. And she was especially caring once Mom was on her own. Charlie would check in on her from time to time. Maybe to help Mom hang a picture or just to say “Hi” but there’s no doubt Charlie had such a good soul, through and through!

I only knew Charlie through participating in the Rockbrook Art Fairs, where I appreciated her advice, energy and dedication for an event she truly loved. It will be hard not to look for her hat and clipboard and she will be missed!
