Judith “Judy” Lanoha-Brew, 64, passed away surrounded by friends and family on February 19, 2024.
Judy was one of seven children born to Fred and Marge Lanoha on March 6, 1959.
She was a dedicated mother first and foremost. She treasured her children and grandchildren and embraced every moment with them. Judy had a vivacious personality and always made people around her laugh.
Known for her ease in frequent conversation, even strangers would tell her their life histories or troubles. She had that approachable trusting nature. It was Judy’s strong will to live, unwavering faith in God, and the love and prayers of family, friends, and many supporters, that carried her through.
Her smile, laughter, and joking around, will be sorely missed and never be forgotten.
Judy was preceded in death by parents, Margaret and Frederick Lanoha; and brothers, Tom and Mike Lanoha.
She is survived by her former husband, Ronald Brew; children: Patrick Brew, Michaela Brew, and Marie Buettgenbach; grandchildren: Ryan, Benjamin, and Judy; siblings: Dave Lanoha (Patti), Mark Lanoha, Peggy Yowell (Jim), Jenny Hensley (Mike); sisters-in-law, Glenda Lanoha and Ann Lanoha; and many nieces and nephews.

Marie and family- Sending you hugs and prayers during this incredibly difficult time. You are one of the strongest people I know and love your grace through all of this. Praying God holds you all in the palm of his hand and gives you strength and peace.
Kaylee and Marie:
I have so many memories of nights sitting around and just laughing with your parents. Your mom always treated us like we were family and was so opening, kind, caring and so sweet. She will be missed. I’m so happy I have those sweet memories to look back on. Praying for you in this difficult time.
In elementary school Judy treated me like one of her own children. She made everyone she talked to feel special. Im sorry for your loss and hope you guys heal from this knowing she is always with you.

Judy was a very close friend and we work that Cox communications for many years. She was one of my best best friends and we had so much fun working together and so many fun times and got in trouble a lot. She will be missed so much. I love her very much. Love, Brenda
Judy was a very close friend and colleague. We both works at Cox communication for many years. We had many laughs and jokes and one time she hit under the table to take a nap and I was her. Look out. Julie will be missed so much. She’ll always be in my heart forever. Brenda
