Judy Albers was born in Omaha to Dorothy and Henry Albers. She was preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Ann Nadrchal. She is survived by son, Joe Nadrchal; sister and brother-in-law, Mary Kay and Stan Steyskal; nine grandchildren; one nephew; and many close friends.
Judy attended Dana College and was office manager for Diesel Power and Equipment Company, where she worked for 43 years. She married in 1969 and loved raising her family in Colon, Nebraska. Judy’s passion was riding and showing Quarter Horses. She was active in the Nebraska Quarter Horse Association and was instrumental in founding the Nebraska Amateur Association. Until her later years, she trained her own horses, earning multiple superior awards and state high point titles in Open, Amateur, and Youth Western Pleasure. Wherever she went, she made friends. Our memories are filled with so many great stories, so much laughter, and so much love.
