Judith J. Wentworth

Judith J. Wentworth

June 21, 1940 – July 8, 2024

Born in Kansas City, Kansas and moved to Omaha shortly after the end of World War II, spending most of her youth in South Omaha.  She was a proud South High Packer, graduating in 1958.  While attending Omaha University she met her husband and they were married in March of 1961.  She spent many years within the minimum competencies department at Omaha Westside High School so if you didn’t pass her tests then you didn’t graduate.  She was a competitive bowler and always had to be anchor. She enjoyed gardening and planted flowers all around her yard.  Home Shopping Network loved her annual spring orders.

She was a wonderful wife and mother who loved caring for her granddaughters and was extremely proud of them.

Preceded in death by parents: Albert & Marie Zimmerman, husband, G.F. Woody Wentworth and brother Albert Zimmerman Jr.

Survived by: son David (Valerie) Wentworth and daughter, Jennifer Wentworth all of Omaha, NE and granddaughters Jessica & Tiffany Wentworth both of Kansas City, MO.
