Preceded in death by husband, James W. Shields, Sr. Survived by children: Jim Jr. (Lisa), Scott, Laura Lewis (Brian), Brian (Stacey), and Kaylene Knuth (Gabe); grandchildren: Kevin, Kacie, Skyler, Brandon, Preston, Cameron, Jayden, Bre, Alaina, Carson, Lizzie, and Hazel; great-grandson, Beckett; brother, Jim Addison.
VIGIL SERVICE: Monday, May 30th, 6pm at the West Center Chapel with honors ceremony by Nebraska Nurse Honor Guard. VISITATION from 4pm to 6pm, West Center Chapel.
MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Tuesday, May 31st, 10:30am at Mary Our Queen Catholic Church (3405 S. 118th Street). Interment: Calvary Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the First Responders Foundation.

Am so sorry. Judy was a wonderful patient and kind person. She was the first one who befriended me when I started working at Bergan Mercy. Prayers for her family.

Judy and I were kids together, neighbors and classmates at St. Thomas More. I have fond memories of bike riding, going to her house to make taffy candy and walking to grade school together. Our paths crossed several times as adults. My deepest condolences to her children and brother Jim. She will be missed by all.
