Judy E. McGowan

March 12, 1946 – June 29, 2017

Judy E. McGowan, age 71, of Omaha, passed away on June 29, 2017 at the Josie Harper Hospice House after a battle with lymphoma.  She is survived by her husband, John McGowan; son, John “Chris” Polland; daughter, Tami Bilka (Dan); stepchildren: Marcie McGowan, John McGowan (Deanna), Joe McGowan, and Mike McGowan; grandchildren: Mike Boldt (Katrina), Noelle and Kendall McGowan, Anthony Romero, Noah and Grant Bilka; great-grandchildren, Cooper and Parker Boldt; brother, Jim Flynn (Linda); sisters-in-law: Karen Flynn, Mary Arthur (Paul), and Jeanie Lamoureux (Art); many cousins, nieces, and nephews; other relatives and many friends.  Judy was preceded in death by parents, Dorothy and John “Mel” Flynn; brother, John Flynn.

The family will receive friends Sunday, July 2nd from 1:30pm to 3pm at Christ the King Catholic Church, 654 So. 86th St., with VIGIL SERVICE at 3pm at the church.  MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Monday, July 3rd at 10am at Christ the King Catholic Church.  Interment, Resurrection Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to Christ the King Catholic Church or Josie Harper Hospice House.
