Judy Nelsen

Age 74, of Kansas City, MO; born in St. Edwards, NE. Retired as O.R. nurse from Bergan Mercy Hospital in 2008. Preceded in death by husband, Ken Nelsen. Survived by son, Scott Bengtson (Stacey); granddaughters: Jourdan, KC, and Presly Bengtson; Fur Baby Chuy Nelsen; daughter, Teri Koenig (Mark); brother, Larry Nelson; granddogs: Phyllis, Benson, and Zoot Koenig and Zoey, Bubba, Bam and Kane Bengtson.
VISITATION and SERVICES on Sunday, Feb. 5th at 10am at Walnut Hill Reception Center, 1350 East Pierce St., Council Bluffs. In lieu of flowers, Judy requested donations to her two favorite charities, Nebraska Humane Society (Omaha) and Chain of Hope (Kansas City).

Just heard about Judy. So very sorry. I was a Methodist Hosp classmate and we had some very good times together.
Judy was a classmate of mine at Nebraska Methodist. We had fun times and good laughs together. Her family

Sympathy to the family. I was a classmate at Methodist. I remember her coming out to the family waiting room and telling me everything when well. Her kindness will be remembered.
