Every memory I have of Judy brings a smile to may face. Sometimes an outright laugh. Judy and I became friends in kindergarten. One day we were called up to the teacher’s desk because we had been caught talking. She made us our fingers on her desk and proceeded to whack them with a ruler. Neither of us cried but at that moment we knew we were going to be best friends for life. In our teen years we teepeed houses and fought over boys. In our early married and having children years we were there for each other. Later years we just enjoyed each other’s company. Trips to Lake Okoboji are among my best memories. Mo, Shirley, Judy and me. An awesome group who had awesome fun. Now one of us is gone. But having those amazing memories will keep her alive in my heart. Rest in peace dearest friend. We’ll meet again on the other side.
Billy, my deepest sympathies on the loss of your sister. If she was anything like you, we’ve lost a kind, sweet, funny and talented soul. Miss seeing you Billy. I remember all the good times at the restaurant.
