June O. Paskach

June 6, 1945 – November 10, 2020

 

June Ora (Heaton) Paskach was born to William Ray Heaton and Myrtle Marie (Dechaine) Heaton on June 6th, 1945, in Peoria, Illinois.

June married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Frank R. Paskach, on November 25th, 1961.  June was known to her siblings and numerous nieces and nephews as Junie and/or June Bug.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years; daughter, Kim (Paskach) VanCleve and husband Troy from Plano, TX; and son, Charles Paskach and life partner Carri Shimerdla from Omaha; grandchildren: Mitch Montgomery and wife Sarah, and Mariah (Montgomery) Haygood and husband Brandon, Hailey Ladner, Grant Shimerdla, Jase Paskach, Gracie Ladner, and Lexi Paskach; great-grandchildren: Zoey, Zane, Riley, Langston, Finley, and Bishop; and survived by her sisters: Margie Lunderville, Burt Highshoe, and Marcia Haugen; and sisters-in-law, Icy Heaton and Billy Jean Heaton.

June is preceded in death by her parents, William and Myrtle; and siblings: Warren Heaton, Jimmy Heaton, Shirley Hildbrand, Mary Kind, Vivian Lowry, Al Heaton, Leah Jones, Bill Heaton, Ronnie Heaton, Myrna Johnson, and Mike Heaton.

June was a dedicated homemaker.  She treasured her time with her husband and children but especially loved her role as a grandma and great-grandma.  She made friends everywhere but was loved back even more.  She followed her grandkids sporting events and she was a die hard Nebraska Cornhusker fan.  She enjoyed the occasional margarita and spending her time at the casinos.

VISITATION following CDC guidelines: Sunday, November 15th from 5pm to 8pm, at the West Center Chapel.  FUNERAL SERVICE: Monday, November 16th, 1pm, West Center Chapel.  INTERMENT: Hillcrest Memorial Park.  Memorials will be directed by the family.
