Kenneth Alan Jurek May 31, 1964 – Feb 6, 2015 Age 50 years, of Bellevue, NE. Passed away on Friday, February 6, in Omaha. He was born on May 31, 1964 in Syracuse, NY, to Stanley and Claudia (Slowik) Jurek. Kenneth worked for the State of Nebraska. He retired as a Lt. Col. in the Civil Air Patrol; was an avid Cubs fan; and most of all he enjoyed being a Dad. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and and godfather. Frank. Kenneth is survived by his wife, Tammy; children: Joseph, Jeremy (Jenna), Sabrina, Victoria, Kendra and Lillian Jurek; his parents, Stanley and Claudia Jurek; brother, Warren (Sheri) Jurek; sisters, Sheli Rice (Bryan) and Erika Jurek (and fiancé, Kirk Bryne); nieces, Katheryn and Kitrina; nephews, Daniel and Victor; uncles, Bob (LeeAnn) Slowik, Jack Jurek, and Fr. Daniel Jurek; aunt Sandra Jurek; and a host of family and friends. VISITATION Tuesday, February 10th from 12noon to 7pm, with family receiving friends 5pm to 7pm and PRAYER SERVICE at 7pm, all at the West Center Chapel. MASS of CHRISTIAN BURIAL Wednesday, February 11th at 10:30am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 14330 Eagle Run Dr. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park. Memorials will be directed by the family
