Survived by husband of 33 years, Richard; 5 step children, Richard, Debra, Michele, Lisa, and Jeanne; one son, John; 13 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; many friends. Karen was born in Omaha and lived in Bellevue. She attended South High School and graduated from Metropolitan State University in Minneapolis, MN. Liked to play classical music on the piano, liked to read and work with colors, interior decorating. VISITATION Thursday, 6pm to 8pm at the West Center Chapel. SERVICES Friday, Sept. 28 at 10am at the West Center Chapel. Interment at Calvary Cemetary. Memorials are suggested to Nebraska Humane Society.
