Karen E. Mitera

March 21, 1960 – August 1, 2019

Preceded in death by parents, Emil and Donna Yecha.  Survived by husband, Larry; son and daughter-in-law, Brandon and Bri Mitera.

VISITATION begins on Tuesday, August 6th, 10am at the West Center Chapel with FUNERAL SERVICES at 11am.  Interment:  Pleasant View Cemetery in Yutan, Nebraska.  Memorials are suggested to The National Ovarian Cancer Coalition or Nebraska Humane Society.

    It’s hard to imagine that your smiling face will not be seen all over Omaha. Rest easy my friend. You touched many hearts in a very positive way.

    I am sorry for your loss. I worked with Karen at Silverstone Group. She was such a friendly and positive person. We have missed her since she left SSGI

    Karen’s bubbly personality, loving heart and true friendship will be dearly missed. I will forever hear her voice and laughter. The impact she made on those around her is everlasting. Our hearts go out to Larry and family.

    Prayers are with Larry and family. I worked in the same area with Karen yrs ago at Mutual of Omaha in the Marketing Dept. Karen was always bubbly. She was very proud of her family. GOD BLESS Karen and Family, Patty and Jeff Freeman

    I worked with Karen for many years; she was always so great to work with and always had a great outlook on life. Condolences to the family! She will be missed.
