Karla L. (Goetting) Marburger
June 23, 1962- August 11, 2023
Karla L (Goetting) Marburger passed peacefully at Echo Hills Memory Care in LaVista. Early Onset Dementia ravaged her life. Karla was a thirty-year employee of Union Pacific Railroad. Karla claimed she was a genetic Missouri Tiger fan since her mother worked in the Missouri Tiger Athletic Office while she was pregnant.
She is survived by her mother, Helen Nichols; stepmother, Linda Goetting; sister, Janice (Kevin) Kite; husband, John L. Marburger; stepchildren: Brett (Crystal) Marburger, Andrea Marburger, Erica (Mike) Valdez, Kent (Shana) Marburger; seven step grandchildren; many friends/relatives.

Karla was my dear friend since we met in the singles group at Harvester Christian Church. She was part of the Fab Five, five gals with varying ages and interest, that just developed a great friendship! I enjoyed going on a couple of cruises with her where I had to say “Shut Up Karla.” If you knew her, you knew that she talked a lot!! It was said with love! She was a very Punny person! I will miss her with my all my heart. My prayers are with John, Janice, and the rest of her family.
So sorry for your loss. Sending prayers to you all.

I met Karla many years ago at Harvester Christian Church and loved her from the beginning. She had a big heart and made everyone around her feel special. I lost touch with her over the years, but she has always remained in my thoughts. Her loss on this earth will be mourned by many, and my condolences go out to her family and friends. You will be missed, but we all look forward to the day we will meet you again in Heaven!
