KASPER, Mark James

Mark James Kasper May 26, 1954 – Jul 6, 2016 Mark James Kasper, age 62, the son of Elmer Raymond and Elaine Lena (Rasmussen) Kasper. He was born May 26, 1954 in Omaha NE. He passed away July 6, 2016 at Hospice House in Omaha NE. Mark is survived by his wife, Jolene Kasper; children, Jaclyn (Luis) Lemus; and Clint Kasper; three granddaughters: Sofia, Alianna, and Penelope; brother, Scot (Roxann) Kasper; nieces, nephews and uncle; father-in-law, Lawrence Kumm. He was preceded in death by parents, Elmer Raymond Kasper and Elaine Lena (Rasmussen) Kasper; sister, Sandra Patterson; mother-in-law, Shirley Kumm. Mark was a 1972 graduate of Benson High School where he was a pitcher on the baseball team. He was self-employed construction contractor in Omaha for many years and retired to the family cabin by the lake. He was an avid Bass Fisherman and won the 1985 Nebraska State Bass Fisherman Award. He loved to hunt, play cards, play pool, bowling, golf, watching storms, lightning, and photography. At the lake he enjoyed bird wildlife watching, walleye fishing, and enjoying the rides and scenery in the four wheeler. He was a great socializer and so proud of his family. The family will receive friends Friday, July 8th, from 12:30pm to 1:30pm, followed by SERVICES at 1:30pm, all at the Bel Air Chapel, 12100 W. Center Rd. Interment, Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Memorials are suggested to National Kidney Foundation.
