Mary, I am so sorry I was not there. I can understand your grief. Katie was special, a strong young woman, a teacher and a smile when I needed it. I will never forget her hugs and smiles. It was my pleasure to take care of Katie and become a little part of your families life. Many hugs and prayers. Jill Nesladek Nurse at Parkview Home
I remember Katie and her infectious smile. Over 20 years ago when I worked for a private medi van service, several of us used to fight over who got to pick her up and take her home from UNMC. She was always smiling and always brightened everyones day. My thoughts are with the family, and I just want you to know she was one of my favorites and I can only imagine how many others say the same.
Goodbye my sweet Katie. I will always love you and miss you.
“Mary, I love you. I am here for you”!
Katie stole my heart all those many years ago at Camp Munroe. She remained an absolutely beautiful spirit throughout her entire life. She had the most engaging smile – one that made it impossible not to smile right back. I feel so lucky to have known her. She has a special place in my heart. Though she will be missed on Earth by all whom she touched, Heaven has gained a truly loving soul in Katie.
Sorry for your loss I love Katie very much
So sorry to hear this news. Katie taught me so much as a professional and a person. I will never forget her or her beautiful smile.
I Have never forgotten Katie and the love and care you (Mary) and Harlan showered on her. God Bless
