Katie Elizabeth Rose (Schindler) Hinde

September 25, 1981 – June 18, 2024

Katie Elizabeth Rose Hinde, beloved wife, and mother, passed away on June 18, 2024 at age forty-two. Katie, the daughter of Jerry and Mary Schindler, was born in Scottsdale, Arizona, and grew up in Omaha. Katie attended Texas Christian University on a full academic scholarship. She graduated with honors and received a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Katie went on to a successful career and was employed by Nuvei Technologies at the time of her passing.

Katie met the love of her life, Timothy Hinde, Jr. and the two were married May 13th, 2017. Katie and Tim were excited to start their family. Timothy Mark Hinde III was born and died on November 29th, 2018. Katie and Tim welcomed Eliana Abigail Hinde on March 19th, 2020. Ellie was Katie’s pride and joy.  Eliana was endearingly called “Little Miss” by her mother.

Katie was a loving wife, devoted mother, incredible daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin, aunt, colleague, and friend. Her kind heart, radiant smile, and uniquely melodic laugh will be dearly missed. Katie also had an unmatched passion for coming to the aid of others when needed.

Katie is survived by her husband, Timothy; daughter Eliana; her mom, Mary (John Furstenberg); her brother, Bill (Gina) Schindler and their children Gianna, Joseph, and Cecelia; brother, Brian Schindler; many aunts, uncles, and cousins; along with her in-laws, Marcia and Timothy Hinde, Sr.; Jaylee (Eugene) Darconte, and daughters, Ella and Ava, Jessica (Kevin) Loontjer and children, Rylee, Weston, and Charlie.

Katie was preceded in death by her son,Timothy Mark Hinde III; her father, Jerry Schindler; grandparents, Ralph and Betty Schindler and Thomas J and Betty J O’Neill; her uncles, Terry Thompson and Jim O’Neill; and many other relatives and friends.

Katie’s love will live on in her family and friends as she is remembered, as stories are told, and as her memory becomes a blessing.

In lieu of flowers, Katie’s family request donations be made to Tim Hinde

for The Eliana Hinde Educational Fund.  Elaina Hinde Educational Fund

 

Family will receive friends on Friday, June 28th, from 5-7PM at West Center Chapel.

Funeral : Saturday, June 29th, 11AM at West Center Chapel.

Interment: Calvary Cemetery
