VISITATION: Friday, July 15th from 4:30pm to 6:30pm, Mary Our Queen Catholic Church, 3405 S. 118th St., followed by VIGIL SERVICE at 6:30pm. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Saturday, July 16th at 10:30am, Mary Our Queen Catholic Church. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Mary Our Queen Education Fund.

Kay Ann Karnish, 83, died peacefully among family on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, in Omaha, Nebraska. Kay was born on February 23, 1939, in Columbus, Nebraska, to Fay Larimore and Virgnia Miller. Kay was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Judy McLaughlin and Rita Grasso, daughter-in-law, Cindy Karnish; and granddaughter, Nicole Dolphens.
Kay and Ronnie were high school sweethearts and married on August 16, 1958, in Omaha where they raised their five children. She will be remembered as a kind, gentle, caring mother and grandmother who was adored by everyone.
Survivors include her loving husband, Ronald Karnish, one month shy of their 64th anniversary; five children: son Donald Karnish, son Michael Karnish (Kristal), daughter Laurie Callahan (Mike), daughter Vicki Dolphens (Frank Jr.), and son Mark Karnish (Sonja); eleven grandchildren and four great-grandsons; sister, Ruth Wiksell (Wendall); sister-in-law Joann Johnson (Bud); sister-in-law Hazel Karnish; and many nieces and nephews.
