#ForeverKellenStrong Kellen Wade Morrison was granted his angel wings on May 6th, 2015, following a six month battle with Burkitts Lymphoma. Kellen was an inspiration to an entire community. His spirit, heart, and strength were well beyond his years. Kellen was born February 6, 2007 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was an energetic kid who loved nothing more than to get his older brother Kolby in trouble and hanging out with his big sister Kylie. He spent a lot of time, especially when he was little, being drug from one of his siblings practice to anothers game to another practice and then back to a game. When he was not being ornery, he loved playing outside, camping with family and friends around a campfire, playing sports, especially basketball, and gaming on about any electronic device imaginable. There was never a dull moment when Kellen was around. His crazy faces, dances, and attitude would make a person laugh in an instant. Kellen is survived by his parents, Kelly and Julie Morrison of Logan, Iowa, his siblings, Kolby Morrison and Kylie Morrison of Logan, Iowa, his grandparents, Ken and Carla Jones of Logan, Iowa, Craig and Jeanyce Hansen of Logan, Iowa, Pam and Larry Morrison of Creston, Iowa, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A Wake Service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Missouri Valley with Father Mike Berner officiating. Visitation will follow until 8:00 p.m. at the church.
