Kelly Jo Rinn, age 57, passed away on October 22, 2018. In her final days, she was surrounded by loving family and friends.

Kelly was born on March 24, 1961 to William and Barbara Moss and was raised in White Bear Lake, MN. After graduating from high school, Kelly joined the US Navy and served in the Medical Corps. After completing her military service, she moved to Omaha and earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Nebraska – Omaha. Kelly met her husband, Peter Rinn, on a church hayrack ride in October of 1989. They were married on February 23, 1990.

Kelly brought immense joy to all she met and was one of the most selfless people you’ll ever meet. She always put her thoughts and concerns for others before her own. She found great joy being with her Hope Ministry Prayer Group at St. Cecilia Cathedral. She was also a huge Minnesota sports fan and particularly enjoyed following the Minnesota Vikings.

Kelly was preceded in death by father, William Moss. Survived by husband, Peter Rinn; son, Patrick Rinn; mother, Barbara Moss; sister, Sandy (Richard) Tessier; nieces, Sam (Jake) Urbanski and Cassy Tessier; stepdaughter Rosemarie Hartoonian; beloved Golden Retriever, Daisy; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

VISITATION: Wednesday, October 24th at 10:15am at St. Cecilia Cathedral, 701 N. 40th St., followed by MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL 11:15am.  INTERMENT: Resurrection Cemetery, 7800 W. Center Rd., immediately following Mass; military honors by Benson VFW Post 2503.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Lutheran Family Services or Madonna School.

    Dear Peter and Patrick,
    I met you when I was teaching Kindergarten at Catholic Academy. Patrick, your mother lived you SO much. She would have done anything for you! I was surprised to hear about her passing so early in life. I’m sure you’ll miss her.

    Kelly was a wonderful big cousin, and i have many memories spending time with her in White Bear and in
    San Diego. My thoughts and prays are with Pete, Patrick, and the Moss family at this very sad time.
