Kenneth Boicourt, Jr.

December 8, 1937 – October 14, 2022

Ken grew up in South Omaha with his brother, Donny.  He graduated from South High School where he met his wife, Jean.  They were married for 63 years and had 4 children: Lisa, Christine, Jeffrey, and Nancy.

Ken was an electrician and belonged to the IBEW.  He was also a model train enthusiast and belonged to local model train clubs.  He enjoyed helping people, it would be common for him to help his kids with minor projects, while using his electrical knowledge.

He also enjoyed spending time at their cabin in Sokol Camp.  A place he built and enjoyed taking friends and family to.

In his retirement years he enjoyed traveling with his wife Jean.  They enjoyed cruising to many destinations.  On the last cruise they took, he was able to have his family join them making it incredibly memorable and special.

He is survived by his wife, Jean; children: Lisa Jones (John), Christine Sass (David), Jeffrey, and Nancy Pierson (Jon); grandchildren: Jennifer, Austin, Mason, Connor, Hayden, Rebecca, and Andrew; great-grandson Rory.

VISITATION: Sunday, October 23, 2022, 6-8PM, at West Center Chapel.

GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Monday, October 24, 2022, 11AM, at Calvary Cemetery.
