Kenneth C. Flint Jr.

Kenneth C. Flint Jr., was born June 23, 1947 in Omaha, NE to Kenneth C. Sr., and Ruth (nee Bruhn) Flint.  He died August 18, 2024 at his home in Omaha.

Kenneth was the author of several Celtic mythology fiction books including A Storm Upon Ulster, Cromm, and the Sidhe and Finn MacCumhal trilogies. As a lifelong fan of Star Wars, Ken helped expand the Star Wars Universe by writing stories for both Tales from Jabba’s Palace and Tales from Mos Eisley Cantina.

He along with his wife Judy were members of Friends of Fort Atkinson and as former teachers with both OPS and MCC, they enjoyed spending their time teaching people about the history of the fort by participating in Living History Weekends.

Kenneth is survived by his sons Devin (Melissa) Flint and Gavin Flint; grandchildren Iain and Rory and by his sister Judy (Earl) Wonning.

He is preceded in death by his wife Judith A. (nee McCormick) Flint and by his parents.

Funeral and interment services will be private.

    I was truly saddened to hear of his passing. His writings fueled my childhood and I have his stories over and over throughout my life. I now have 4 boys of my own and they are reading his stories as well.
    Thank you, Mr Flint for everything.
