Kenneth was preceded in death by mother, Evelyn Borkowski in 1982; father, Harold “Jack” Borkowski in 2001; grandparents, Earl and Mabel Weems, Otto and Emma Borkowski; nephew, Jeff Williams; grandnephew, Kadin Green.
Survived by wife, Francene; daughters, Na Netta Renee Jones, Linnetta Jones Anderson (Patrick); grandsons, Marquis Omari Jones and Jamon Lee Hampton (Bekka); great-grandchildren, Levi Randall and Samson Thomas Beyer; brother, Jack Borkowski of Iowa Falls, Iowa; five sisters: Karen Stueve (Ken) of Idaho Falls, Idaho, Gwenda Basham (Joel) of Exira, Iowa, Marla Williams of Newton, Kansas, Juanette Birk (Frank) of Gridley, Kansas, Lori Borkowski of Manning, Iowa; 11 nieces and nephews.
Kenneth enjoyed farm living, peace and quiet, family gatherings, car shows, antique cars, The Road Shows, ancestry research, “Figuring Out the Impossible”, and the Men’s Fellowship Breakfast first Saturday of each month. He was a member of Bible Truth Ministries for 16 years. Kenneth graduated from the Manning Community School District and received his Associates Degree from Columbia University in Columbia, Missouri. He was recruited by IBM to work at OPPD. As a child growing up, he was known by family and friends as a great “prankster” with witty jokes and quick comebacks. Kenneth loved to encourage others on the job and in life. He was so clever that he was united in marriage to his “nurse,” Francene on May 28th, 2011, at the Kroc Center in Omaha by Pastors Rordy and Ramona Smith.

Our condolences to the family.
Sending my sympathy. So sad to learn of Ken’s passing. I worked with him for years at OPPD. We sat across the aisle from each other. He was a good guy.

I remember Ken’s help when I first came to IT. After that we became good friends. Ken is a smart and good man. I wish I could attend Ken’s funeral, but I still in Arizona. RIP Ken. You are loved.
May Ken rest in peace. I too worked with Ken for many years. He was always great to work with and be around. He shared his love for muscle cars and computers. Great person and he will be missed.

Wishing the family the comfort only God can provide. I am grateful for the opportunity to have known such a kind, generous, and welcoming spirit of a man. I am even more grateful that he is with Jesus and that we will see him again.
Ken was a great co- worker I was grateful to have worked with him years ago at western engineering during his asphalt construction days before his car accident. Always enjoyed working with Ken . Rest in peace
