Kevin Donald Stormberg
February 9, 1989 – December 10, 2023
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved son and brother, Kevin Donald Stormberg, who left us on December 10, 2023. Kevin, age 34, was born on February 9, 1989, to Scott Stormberg and Diane Glow Stormberg in Omaha, NE.
He graduated from Creighton Preparatory School in 2007 ,and went on to earn his Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Kevin was a dreamer, in the best possible sense. He had an entrepreneurial spirit from a young age, starting with his Go-Ped business. He always had a goal he was working towards, and a vision of the life he wanted, and worked hard to obtain it.
Kevin loved his family deeply, evidenced by the thoughtfulness and care he showed over the years. He gave big hugs that radiated with love, and you could see how happy he was when family got together. He was a wonderful Uncle to his niece, Bonnie, and always came up with unexpected gifts that she loved. He looked forward to starting his own family and would’ve been an amazing husband and father.
Kevin was preceded in death by his grandmother, Joanne Glow; grandfathers, Dr. Donald Glow and Dr. Donald Stormberg; and cousin, Joseph “Joey” Glow.
He leaves a large family to cherish his memory: parents, Scott Stormberg and Diane Glow; sister, Sarah (Ben) Estep; grandmother, Rosalie Stormberg; great- aunt, Shirley Loy; aunts and uncles, Kaye (Al) Hess, Bob (Ann) Glow, Maureen (Steve) Fox, Tom (Lisa) Glow, Nancy (Joe) Leutzinger, Donna (Bob) Forbes, Rick (Kathy) Glow, Amy Stormberg, Jeff Stormberg, Kent (Mary) Stormberg, Greg Stormberg, Amber Stormberg, Kurt (Susan) Stormberg, Paul (Alison) Stormberg, Don (Paula) Stormberg, Becky (Greg) Zill and Jennifer (Joe) Preimesberger; and numerous, numerous cousins.
Please join us as we celebrate and remember his life. The VISITATION will be at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 14330 Eagle Run Drive, Kampschneider Hall, on Friday, December 15, 2023, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., with a VIGIL and Celebration of Life immediately following.
MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church on Saturday, December 16th, at 10:00 a.m. , followed by a luncheon. INTERMENT: Resurrection Cemetery, at 1:30 p.m. Memorials will be directed by the family to dedicate a memorial Omaha Parks bench in Kevin’s name.

Dear Stormbergs,
I am so sorry to hear of Kevin’s passing. Kevin was such a sweet soul and fun guy. I have fond childhood memories of him, always with a kind word to share and a smile on his face. Twenty-three years ago, Kevin burned me a CD that I had wanted but that he got first. It was so thoughtful. I still have it, and it has one of my favorite songs of all time. I’ll be jamming to Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water by Limp Bizkit in his honor. My prayers are with you all in this time of unimaginable grief. May your cherished memories bring you comfort and may you be surrounded by loved ones and support.
Diane, Scott and Sarah
