Kirk William Coffey

Kirk William Coffey

July 29, 1965 – September 28, 2022

Kirk William Coffey, 57, died September 28, 2022, with family by his bedside.

Kirk was born July 29, 1965, in Omaha, Nebraska to Judith and William Coffey. Kirk loved his two daughters, Madelyn and Makenzie dearly. They were his entire world. He wanted nothing more than to see his daughters grow up to be successful ladies.

Kirk was the oldest of three children. He always did a great job taking care of his siblings, doing their work so they wouldn’t get in trouble. This continued throughout his life, even with his daughters.

Kirk spent his life working as a CNA. He worked 18 years at the Nebraska Vet’s Home, and he worked for Don in his home for over 25 years. As Don’s family said, “Kirk was family to us. He was so devoted to Don and did an amazing job.”

The Coffey family would like to thank everyone for their prayers and support.

He was preceded in death by his two loving grandmothers. He is survived by his wife, Wendy Coffey; daughters, Maddie Coffey, Kenzie Coffey; mother, Judy Coffey; father, Bill (Shelia) Coffey; brother, Scott Coffey; sister, Renee (Deb Bley) Coffey; nieces and nephews.

VISITATION: Monday, October 3, 2022, 9:30-10:30 a.m. followed by FUNERAL SERVICE: 10:30 a.m., all at West Center Chapel. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to the Coffey children’s education fund.
