Kirsten Cierra Davis
June 5, 1996 – April 22, 2019
Kirsten Cierra Davis was born on June 5, 1996 in Omaha, Nebraska to Michelle Zezulak and Robert Davis. She had the honor of being the first grandchild to Walt Zezulak and Diane Nyberg and the first great-grandchild for Danny and Mary Kay O’Donnell. Five and a half years later, Kirsten became a big sister to Kaylee Marie born in January of 2002.
Kirsten attended Walt Disney Elementary School in Millard. In 2007, Michelle, Kirsten and Kaylee moved to Gretna, Nebraska where Kirsten attended Gretna Middle School; she graduated from Gretna High School in 2014. Kirsten attended Metro Community College for a year and continued working in retail including her most recent work at a bookstore.
In 2016, Kirsten met the love of her life and soulmate in Stephen Holt. They shared an affinity for cats and music and loved each other dearly. On February 9, 2019, Stephen asked Kirsten to marry him and she happily accepted.
Kirsten passed away on April 22, 2019 due to sudden health complications.
Kirsten is survived by her mother, Michelle Zezulak; father, Robert Davis; sister, Kaylee Davis; grandparents, Diane Nyberg and Walt Zezulak; fiancé, Stephen Holt; uncles: Martin Zezulak, Craig Davis, and Jim Davis; aunts: Tonnie Zezulak, Jenny Davis, and Mary Davis; numerous cousins, extended family members, and dear friends. Kirsten was preceded in death by her uncle, Glen Davis.
The Family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 30th from 4pm to 6pm at the West Center Chapel, followed by VIGIL SERVICE at 6pm. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Wednesday, May 1st at 10am at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 508 Angus St. in Gretna. Interment: Calvary Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family.

I am so sorry to hear of Kristen’s passing. May God’s loving embrace capture your heart knowing she is with him in paradise today. You are all in my thoughts and daily prayers. Life and time are precious gifts.

Loved so deeply. So unique and precious. I thank God for all who enhanced Kirsten’s life and all who were enhanced by her life. I pray for your strength as you do all that must be done. I pray you are able to grieve well…until your grief gives way to gratitude for every incredible shared experience you enjoyed. My heart is with you.

So sorry to hear of her passing, and I remember her and Grandma and Grandpa Danny Playing at the various family events. I know that she is with them right now, and that brings me comfort. I’m sorry to not be able to attend, but the entire family is in my prayers.

I am so sorry for your loss, and i want you to remember that even in death Kirsten will always be with us. She was loved very much and she will never be forgotten. I never really knew Kirsten but that doesn’t change the fact that she is a part of my family. She is in good hands now and is and will be watching over all of us. Rest in peace Kirsten.
