Garrett Paul Kowal June 12, 1956 June 19, 2015 Preceded in death by infant son, Paul Garrett Kowal; grandparents, Ludvik and Pauline Vampola, John and Victoria Kowal. Survived by sons, Kevin (Kelly) and Patrick (Rob); daughter, Alana (Joey); parents, Paul and Lorry Kowal; grandchildren, Nolan and Evelyn Kowal; brothers, Craig Kowal (Lori) and Scott Kowal (Julie); nephews: Michael, Matthew, Luke, Zachary, John and Wright Kowal; other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 23rd from 6pm to 7pm, with WAKE SERVICE at 7pm, all at the Vinton Street Chapel. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Wednesday, June 24th at 10am at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 17th and Center. Interment, St. Mary Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the family Gary was a talented artist and an accomplished musician. He illustrated many books, loved music and played the piano and guitar. He attended St. Joseph Grade School, Creighton Prep High School, Bellevue, UNO and Creighton University. Gary retired from the U.S. Postal Service in 2014. Gary is now with Gods loving grace and his beloved son Paul and grandmother Pauline. Love youbye, Gary, until we are together in heaven. ~ From your family.
