Kumud Sualy was born March 8, 1949 in Mumbai India to Jamnabai and Jagjivandas Matani. She died January 6, 2025.
Kumud, cherished wife, mother, and sister passed away surrounded by love. She devoted her life to raising her two beloved sons, instilling in them the values of kindness, resilience, and love. She found joy in traveling to visit her six brothers and three sisters, treasuring the bonds of family. A chef at heart, she loved bringing people together with her delicious meals, creating cherished memories in the kitchen. She also embraced the simple joys of life, spending her time watching movies and listening to her favorite music.
Kumud is survived by her husband Subhash Sualy; her sons Rahul (Abbey) and Kunal (Sirisha); her grandchildren Cooper, Reid, Norah, Aiden and Liam; her siblings Jaya, Harish, Vijaya, Harendra, Mira, Surendra and Satish and by many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her siblings Mukund and Madhusudhan and by her parents.
Visitation Saturday, February 8th from 9:00 am – 10:30 am at Heafy, Hoffman, Dworak, Cutler. 7805 West Center Road, Omaha, NE 68124
